Why I’m Pursuing Acquisition

For 25 years, I've been building things—schools, networks, programs, and a consulting practice. Now I'm ready to take on established enterprises that are already successful and make them even better. Entrepreneurship is rich in my family history, so I grew up bearing witness to the drive, direction, and strategic knowledge that bold endeavors need to last. Acquiring established, cash-flowing businesses is the next step in my ever-growing legacy.

What Makes Me Ready

Through my master's coursework at Harvard, my rigorous doctoral work, and a specialized ETA accelerator, I have sharpened my ability to analyze systems, identity and solve for root causes, and am intensively developing acumen in valuation, deal structuring, due diligence, financing, and post-acquisition management. I’m training for an acquisition marathon! And I'm bringing every bit of that preparation to your transition.

What I Bring

Since 2018, I've run my thriving consulting practice, Firefly Worldwide Inc., serving prominent organizations like Google, the NYC Department of Education, and the Aspen Institute. I know what it takes to deliver on high expectations, retain noteworthy clients, and manage profitability while maintaining mission.

My operational experience goes deeper. I've co-designed and scaled a single-site school into a five-school network and collaborated on a $50 million capital campaign to erect a gorgeous education facility in East Harlem, NY. Through this work, I have managed annual budgets of up to $17 million and led a staff of 150+ people through growth and change.

I simultaneously own and operate a successful short-stay rental business, and completed two sizable gut renovation projects in prime locations. So, I have come to understand the benefits and complexity of managing multiple revenue streams, and how to achieve economies of scale to ensure that each of my business models works.

I'm proving that acquisition is possible for people who look like me.

By acquiring new businesses, I will be disrupting typical barriers to entry and creating lasting financial security as a model for others seeking to do the same.
